Jolly Sailor Bold

Hi! So I've been following your art for some time now and I absolutely love it and I think you are marvelously talented. Your character design is fun, charming, and uplifting. While on Buzzfeed today, one of their articles featured an artist whose work is inspired by Disney.  One of the images I thought I recognized, as it was my phone screensaver for some time, as this piece above, only the version on Buzzfeed featured a different artist and the art is slightly different (your piece is far more intriguing to me, no offense to the other artist of course).  Anyways, I'm not sure if you two artists know one another or maybe one was inspired by the other, but I find the resemblance to both your pieces mystifying. Both of you chose the same setting, subject, and equally similar characters, one of which has a tattoo in practically the same spot.  It's uncanny really and I just thought you should know that it appears your art has a doppelganger.
